[...] The terms of use during Amazon.com’s strain service, for instance, mention that purchasers might not redistribute or sell a calm they’re buying. But in a earthy world, a DVD or CD that we squeeze is lonesome by a “first-sale doctrine,” that allows we to sell, lend, or give a front to a crony though carrying to compensate anymore income to a copyright holder. Whether a first-sale doctrine covers digital products like songs or cinema is still an open authorised question. [...]

Our group has not waited around for the same people who extended copyright to 70 years (so Mickey wouldn't enter public domain in anyone's life time) in contravention of any reasonable basis for encouraging new works and then applied it ex post facto, or crafted WIPO and are now clandestinely working on ACTA to offer anything useful to e-book users.

First Sale - Free online Kindle-Kindle conversion

    ALPHA TEST NOTICE

    Ever wanted to lend, sell
    or give away your e-book?
    Now you can!

Without learning about the internals of e-book technology or the risk of installing questionable software First Sale's servers can convert Kindle books in your collection to run on any other Kindle.

During ALPHA testing First Sale will only be accessible via I2P (preferred) or Tor networks. Using our servers is convenient via one of the I2P/Tor gateway in-proxies and standard web browsers.

Of the two networks FS seems to operate much faster via I2P.

The in-proxy URLs for FS are http://firstsale.i2p.to and http://voba3xuuqisvloqe.tor2web.com

In-proxies can significantly slow access to First Sale so please be patient if you use them.

    Regards,

    The FS operators

PS: Our advisers have reviewed relevant international law (especially WIPO) and concluded that due to our jurisdiction First Sale operates legally. Your mileage may vary.
